About Lorna Marchant
Health is Lorna’s long time passion. Her main aim is to help set people free of symptoms, allowing them to be the person they are meant to be.
Lorna is a experienced and fully qualified Nutritional Therapist and trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, a premier establishment for the training of Nutritionists. Patrick Holford was the founder, and a teacher at that establishment. Lorna then went on to become a part time tutor at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition. Lorna is registered with The British Association of Nutritional Therapists and trained in food and chemical intolerance/allergy testing with The British Institute for Allergy and Environmental Therapies and The Association of Systematic Kinesiology. Lorna likes to work differently from other Nutritionists, combining kinesiology with Nutritional Therapy, which allows her to test for food/chemical intolerances and help test for weaknesses in organs, such as, the liver, spleen, gut, etc.
Lorna moved to Bristol for a short time to manage the Bristol Nutrition Clinic and during that time, took part in The Good Health Guide as shown on HTV West in March 2002. Lorna also frequently commented on radio Kent regarding current health issues. Lorna also contributed to the very first edition of Patrick Holford’s, The Optimum Nutrition Cookbook.
.
Amongst Lorna’s other qualifications, she trained as a Neuro Linguistic Programmer with Paul McKenna, Michael Breen and Richard Bandler, and Thought Field Therapy with Charles Stone.
